Katie Bourne Interiors

Katie grew up on a working farm in rural Staffordshire and from a young age has had a passion for children’s book illustration and animation enjoying their artwork skills and techniques. These both influenced her from a young age to interpret the world around her in an illustrative style.

 Katie went on to train at Cambridge School of Art to gain BA (Hons) in Illustration. She continued to work in many different medias, mainly working in water colour and ink for commissioned illustrations for individual business and clients. Her continued passion for the arts along with her new nephews and godchildren led her to design her first collection of children’s wallpapers. 

Her passion is to create designs with a feeling of classic storytelling; papers which involve the child’s imagination within the patterns; allowing them to create their own adventures using the inspiring images.
